Lip Enhancement
The ideal Lip Look for You
Right now is the perfect time for a lip enhancement. Who doesn't want a more defined and improved lip shape and volume?
After a non-surgical lip enhancement with me, you will leave feeling better, fresher, renewed, and even more attractive - get ready to smile!
I use tenting and other advanced techniques with the utmost precision and eye for detail in order to give each person the look that naturally fits them the best and avoiding an over-filled, unnatural look.
From consultation to post-treatment aftercare, each lip procedure is personalised to the patient using the best products, expertise and attention to detail.
Book a consultation so we can discuss your expectations, whether it's improving the structure of genetically thin lips or reversing the signs of aging, and I can give you a beautiful, natural, unique look that matches your style and personality.
Treatment usually takes 30 - 45 minutes post numbing time and once over the patient can usually return to normal activities. A numbing cream and simple analgesic can be used prior to treatment and a cool pack is usually supplied post treatment to ensure maximum patient comfort.
Hyaluronic acid is the substance being injected and this can sometimes be combined with lidocaine to minimise pain – it is important to let us know if you have any allergies as some people can be allergic to lidocaine. Reactions such as anaphylaxis, local skin reactions or biofilm reactions may occur, sometimes causing nodules, lumps or bumps or abscesses. These occur immediately or months after the procedure. They may require treatment and they may leave permanent effects on the appearance, sensation and function of the areas affected. The chance of a reaction is reported to be 0.5% or 1 in 200. The chance of reaction can increase if you have active autoimmune disease which you must disclose and discuss with your clinician. In this instance a letter would be required from your consultant prior to treatment which my have to be submitted to insurers prior to agreement of treatment.
There is a possibility of bruising and swelling post treatment but this is to be expected when working in such a vascular area and while every effort is made to minimise the likelihood of this happening it can still occur. Very often in fact, patients grow accustomed to the swelling which occurs during the week or two post treatment and they can be disappointed when it subsides!
Other risks of injection include bleeding, haematoma (a larger collection of blood in the skin, outside of blood vessels), infection, itching, and a lumpy or “thick” feeling at or just under the skin. Injections into the lip area could trigger a recurrence of cold sores (Herpes simplex) which may require treatment – either over the counter using a cold sore cream or using anti-viral tablets available through your GP. These problems may resolve in time, but medical intervention may be required, and long-term effects may persist in rare cases.
Occasionally, unwanted visual side effects may cause dissatisfaction or distress. These can include but are not limited to an increase in asymmetry, swelling, puffiness, pigment changes, surface irregularities, thread veins or new capillaries, and other blemishes. These may recover, require further treatment or, unfortunately, be permanent. The subjective nature of appearance means dissatisfaction is a possible outcome regardless of effectiveness of treatment and it is important that patients give careful consideration to possibility this before deciding to proceed with treatment.
In some instances the arterial blood supply can be blocked by filler, causing local tissue necrosis, and permanent scarring. There are extremely rare instances of vessels which supply the eye or parts of the brain being affected causing blindness and stroke. Other Complications include damage to structures under the skin including veins, arteries, nerves, salivary glands, lymph nodes, bone and other soft tissue structures. In rare cases this could cause problems in appearance, sensation or function.
This treatment is not suitable for those suffering from a neuromuscular disorder, those taking muscle relaxants, who have active infection or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Patients should understand that occasionally the treatment wears off very quickly or does not work at all and additional treatments will be necessary to maintain the desired effect which will incur additional charges. Patients should also have given due consideration to alternatives to treatment, including, for example, doing nothing, topical creams, surgical treatment.
Prior to treatment patients will be asked to sign a consultation form stating that they have read and considered all of the above and that they agree that the balance of the benefits and risks to them favours the use of dermal filler, that they accept all the risks, complications and conditions of the procedure, and understand photographs are taken and stored for 21 years as part of my clinical record.
Results typically last 3 - 6 months but can vary from patient to patient.
All patients receive up to two weeks aftercare post treatment to ensure client safety and patient satisfaction.
From £200/€230 per ml including complimentary aftercare pack.
TESTIMONIAL
It is now the morning after and through the night I have minimal to no pain. I used all the great advice I was given my Eleanor. I was made to feel so at ease when I went to the Elle Aesthetics and Lifestyle Clinic and my lips are looking fabulous and not nearly as swollen like the way I thought they would be. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a great experience on something I had been so nervous about from I booked in. Eleanor is a perfectionist.

Treatment can be painful but numbing cream can be applied 30 minutes beforehand and, if desired, the patient can take a simple analgesic such as paracetamol before they arrive for treatment. A cool pack can also be used post-treatment to ensure maximum patient comfort and these are usually supplied by Elle Aesthetics and Lifestyle as part of your aftercare pack.

Dermapen Mesotherapy Facial
The most sophisticated system for Microneedling
Using the most advanced microneedling pen & cliniccare mesotherapy cocktails which can be tailored to your needs, the dermapen slides along the skin, penetrating the upper layers of the skin in order to create numerous tiny needle wounds which in turn serves to refresh, repair and rejuvenate the skin.
This procedure causes the body to respond by forming new collagen (Collagen Inductiion Therapy) and elastin fibers. In response to this stimulus, the skin plumps and thickens, which results in reduction of the appearance of scars, fine lines and wrinkles.
Usually numbing cream is not needed and results tend to be more effective without it.
Results can be seen after only one treatment, usually after 6 - 8 days, with results further improving over time, however a course is recommended.
Initially there may be slight redness, swelling or erythema and itching or tightness but this usually subsides within 48-72 hours. Any flakiness or pimples can be seen as a good sign as the skin rids itself of toxins.
Allergic reactions are unlikely as this is a minimally invasive procedure hence there is little downtime and a realitively quick healing process.
Clients should avoid wearing make-up while the skin is healing - normally a minimum of 48 hours. Clients should also avoid other treatments like botox, dermal fillers, electrolysis and IPL ideally for a month either side of their dermapen treatment.
Watch my video on preparing the skin for a dermapen treatment here.
From £99/€115 per treatment (includes complimentary lip plump if desired - usually £30/€35, and Clinicare sheet mask - usually £20/€25).
Best as a course of a minimum of three treatments at 6 weekly intervals.
Alternatively the dermapen can be used with your own PRP in a treatment affectionately known as the Vampire Facial (see below).

I had a course of six PRP sessions with Eleanor between June 2019 and Feb 2020 for scalp rejuvenation. She answered all my questions prior to treatment and although I was nervous about getting my bloods taken she reassured me and it was relatively quick and painless. My hair dresser was first to comment on the results - thank you!

B12 energy shot for Health and Wellbeing
Love Your Look
The benefits of b12 are well known, ranging from increased energy levels, better quality sleep to improved mood and mental performance.
Contact me today for a consultation and feel the very best version of yourself.
Some information about B12
B12 injections are typically used as a treatment for pernicious anaemia where there is a lack of intrinsic factor in the stomach which is necessary for the absorption of B12.
Vegetarians & vegans frequently require B12 supplementation since their diet is low in/doesn't contain animal products, the primary source of B12.
Those with chronic fatigue or anaemia require frequent injections of vitamin B12 usually because the oral form is not dependable while B12 injections are most effective when taken at regular intervals. A regular schedule to receive the injections can be customised to each individual.
The body's ability to absorb vitamin B12 reduces with age as older people tend to havde less intrisic factor.
Methylcobalamin is a unique form of vitamin B12, which is usually more readily converted into the coenzyme forms than conventional cyanocobalamin.
Deficiency of vitamin B12 can lead to abnormal neurological and psychiatric symptoms including ataxia (shaky movements and unsteady gait), muscle weakness, spasticity, incontinence, hypotension, vision problems, dementia, psychoses, and mood disturbances.
Side effects and warnings
Some redness and swelling at the injection site may occur and should begin to clear up within 48 hours.
Vitamin B12 is safe for most people, however, pregnant or lactating women should speak to their GP or consultant prior to receiving B12 injections.
Sensitivity to cobalt and/or Vitamin B12 is a contraindication.
Clients with chronic liver and/or kidney dysfunction, Leber’s disease (hereditary eye disease) or abnormal red blood cells (megaloblastic anemia) should not take B12 injections unless under the supervision and monitoring of their GP or consultant.
From £35 per injection. A course of 6 is recommended.
TESTIMONIAL
I had a course of B12 injections with Eleanor (It usually takes me about 5 days before I feel the shot kicking in) and found that I slept better at night and had more energy during the day. I have been able to concentrate better in work and don't seem to tire as quickly in the gym. I still go for a maintenance shot every 6 -8 weeks or so when I feel the need.

Anti - Wrinkle Treatment
Facial Intramuscular Injectables, Hyperhydrosis treatment.
Looking for something to freeze time? Whether you want to simply stop aging in its tracks or soften harsh lines on the face, I can make it happen. We’ll discuss your dream look and in minutes it’ll come to life. My job is to make you look brilliant for those everyday moments that turn into forever memories.
The prescription only medication, is produced by the bacteria clostridium botulinum which is then purified. Subject to consultation with prescriber. Treatment will be carried out 2 weeks later once prescription has been filled and also to ensure patient has had adequate time to consider the treatment and also the other options available, e.g., dermapen/hyaluronic acid/prp or no treatment.
Results of anti-wrinkle treatment including longevity and effectiveness of treatment can vary from patient to patient depending on factors such as metabolism and environment.
It works by causing muscle relaxation and suppression of sweating for an average of between 2 to 6 months, with wide variation between patients, working by disrupting nerve signals to sweat glands and muscles.
Potential side effects to be aware of include headache, swelling, bruising, bleeding, pain, puffiness, itch, numbness, allergy including anaphylaxis, asymmetry, double/blurred vision, dry eyes and drooping of facial features. The most common of these is the mild headache as the anti-wrinkle treatment begins to take effect.
Two week follow up will be carried out by phone/text or email and is essential as after this point no 'top-ups' can be carried out. Top-up treatment and cost is at the discretion of the practitioner and can vary from patient to patient. After this point any treatment will be treated as a new treatment at full price.
It is important to note that the degree of improvement can not be guaranteed and the subjective nature of the outcome means that, while patient satisfaction is a priority at Elle Aesthetics & Lifestyle, there is a possibility of dissatisfaction regardless of effectiveness of treatment. There are limitations to treatment and in some patients anti-wrinkle treatment can wear off very quickly or even have little to no effect. In any case, the effect of treatments will gradually wear off and additional treatments will be necessary to achieve/maintain the desired effect.
Not suitable for those suffering with body dysmorphia or diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Other conditions where Anti-wrinkle injections would not be suitable include those which affect the muscles such as MD (muscular dystrophy). Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, if on muscle relaxants or suffering from an active infection.
There may be other conditions where you might be asked to produce a doctor's letter prior to your treatment, for example, if you are on any medication which could increase your risk of bleeding or bruising such as Vitamin E, Aspirin, Motrin, Clopidogrel or Warfarin.
Watch my video on Antiwrinkle treatments for men here.
